“China. Real?”

Focusing primarily on the first decade of the new millennium, the exhibition will take a
closer look at prevalent movements and styles in contemporary Chinese art. The spotlight
is thus on both the political and social change the country is experiencing, as well as the
influence the West has had on shaping the Chinese art world.

 

The exhibition is a tour of more than 60 paintings and prints by renowned masters such
as Feng Zhengjie, Liu Ye, Pu Jie, Wang Guangyi, Xue Song, Zhao Bo, Zhang Gong,
Zhang Xiaogang and Zhou Chunya, as well as several promising young artists.
